The City of Newport is partnering with residents, community members, and local artists to develop a master plan for the Newport Floodwall Murals — a transformative public art project that will paint our city’s spirit across one of its most visible structures.
Our history runs deep: prehistoric discoveries, military heritage, entertainment, and a riverside culture that has fueled generations of growth. Our neighborhoods pulse with life. Our people inspire. Our businesses thrive. Together, they form a story no single street can contain — but a floodwall just might.

Cost:
An estimated budget of $250,000 is needed, with each panel averaging around $15,000 in costs to paint.
